# Overview

## Byzantium

> A decentralized marketing network on Bittensor.

Byzantium turns marketing into an open competition. Instead of hiring an agency, **anyone can earn by bringing real human attention to ن.**

### The idea in one minute

People — called **miners** — share Byzantium links on social media. Real people click those links. The miners who bring the most genuine attention earn rewards in **ن**.

That's the whole loop: do real marketing, get paid for real results.

### How it flows

1. **Miners share** their Byzantium link on X and Farcaster.
2. **Real people discover and click** it.
3. **The network rewards** the miners who drove the most genuine attention, in ن.

### Who's involved

* **Miners** — market ن and earn for the real attention they bring.
* **Validators** — keep it honest by confirming the attention is genuine.
* **The network** — rewards results automatically, on Bittensor.

### Why Byzantium

* **Real attention, not vanity metrics.** Bots and fake clicks don't get paid.
* **Open to anyone.** No contracts, no minimums, no gatekeepers.
* **Built on Bittensor** — the decentralized network that pays for useful work.

### What's next

This is the overview. We'll roll out more, step by step:

* **How It Works** — a closer look at the loop
* **For Miners** — how to get started and start earning
* **For Validators** — how scoring stays honest
* **Rewards** — how ن is distributed
