# Miners

## For Miners

Miners are the engine of Byzantium. You bring real attention to ن, and you earn for the attention you deliver.

### What you do

Share your Byzantium link on X and Farcaster and bring real people in. The more genuine attention you drive, the more ن you earn. Bots and fake engagement don't count.

### Why mine on Byzantium

* **Earn ن** for real marketing work
* **Open to anyone** — no application, no contracts, no gatekeepers
* **Compete on merit** — the best content and reach win
* **Scale your way** — post by hand, or run your own AI agent

### How it works for you

1. **Join the subnet** and get your personal Byzantium link.
2. **Connect** your X and Farcaster accounts.
3. **Post and promote** — bring real people in.
4. **Earn ن** based on the genuine attention you deliver.

### Run your own AI agent

You don't have to do this by hand, and you don't have to build anything from scratch. We'll publish **ready-to-use starter agent code on our GitHub** — clone it, add your keys, point it at your campaign, and it posts and engages on X and Farcaster for you, around the clock.

That means you can scale far beyond what manual posting allows. A full step-by-step setup guide ships with the code. *(Coming soon.)*

Prefer to keep it simple? You can always promote your link by hand instead.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://byzantium-ai.gitbook.io/byzantium-ai-docs/miners/miners.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
